Can we migrate existing data into Optiwise?

We can bring existing records into Optiwise through the supported imports and agreed field mappings. Start with the items, units, parties and opening balances needed for your first factory workflow, then reconcile the imported records before using them for live decisions.

Map one useful starting dataset

Give each item a stable identity and the unit used for buying, storing and issuing it. Map customers and vendors separately. If one old code means two different materials, resolve that conflict before import. A spreadsheet column with a familiar name does not prove it has the same meaning as the destination field.

Reconcile a stock opening before the first issue

Suppose an old sheet shows 100 pieces in total, including 20 awaiting inspection. The starting record must preserve which quantity is usable and which still needs the quality decision. Importing 100 as usable stock would give the planner a false starting position. Stores checks the physical quantity, unit, location and relevant lot; quality confirms the held quantity.

Use our training organisation to practise a receipt, issue and return with the mapped items. A practice entry is not a real stock movement. Keep the agreed cut-off and handle subsequent movements through the live workflow so old and new records are not posted twice.

We charge ₹0 for implementation. Software subscriptions, optional add-ons and IoT hardware are separate. Bring a redacted sample of your item and stock files so we can map the first workflow and its exceptions with you.
