Start with the job your team needs to finish

For a machining order, stores records the material issue and the operator records the operation, actual output and rejection or rework. Your supervisor can follow the job from those records while the machine has no connected device. A missing entry still needs an update from the person doing the work.

Add a signal to answer a specific question

If the recurring question is whether the machine was running or stopped, choose the relevant capture device and map it to the correct machine. Our IoT offering includes machine-state capture, power monitoring, vibration sensing and operational dashboards. The device and connection needed depend on the measurement. A running signal alone does not establish which job produced accepted parts.

Keep the signal beside the job and operator context. An old reading needs its timestamp and a connection check before the supervisor uses it to make a production commitment. Edge buffering preserves supported machine data during a connection loss; it does not make every factory workflow available offline.
